Early morning at sunrise, we make our way into the world famous MFNP for a half day game drive in search for the wildlife wonders Africa offers her visitors in this unspoiled land where big game still roam freely. We might even spot some of the Big Five – Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, and Leopard. Other animals include; Rothschild’s Giraffe, Hyena, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, and chimpanzees among others.
After lunch, proceed for a boat trip to the bottom of the Falls along river Nile. The Nile itself hosts one of Africa’s densest hippos and crocodile populations, and a dazzling variety of water birds such as the African Fish Eagle, African Skimmer and the rare shoebill stork which can easily be seen at the banks of the river. Other bird species that can be seen include Silver Bird, Grey-crowned Crane, Goliath Heron, Black-headed Gonolek, Green-winged, Long-toed Plover, Saddle-billed Stork, Spotted and Verreaux’s Owls.
